My name is ConCatto, I am currently working as a software consultant specialized in legacy ERP software. My past career roles include System Administrator, Software Engineer, Programmer Analyst, System Analyst.
My professional skills include IBM AS/400 midrange computer system (aka iSeries, System i) and programming laguanges such as PL/I, COBOL, RPG, CLP, C, and the new ILE versions. Oh, did I mention that these technologies are as old as John McCain?
As the demand for the legacy software and hardware is gradually diminishing, I want to retool myself by getting to know and learn newer technologies. My current interests are in open-source operating system and software. I’m currently experiment with differ flavors of Linux operating systems and try to find a permanent replacement for Microsoft Windows.
